• Design, architect, and build our Business-to-Business Android applications with a modern and rich UI.
• Write maintainable, testable, and performant software in collaboration with our high-performing team.
• Participate in code review and perform extensive testing to ensure we deliver high-quality software.
• Work closely with UI/UX and product teams to transform requirements and mock-ups to product features.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and fixing issues
• Work with our web and online systems developers to provide an end-to-end solution that addresses our customers’ needs
• Maintain the highest level of product reliability, code quality, and reusability by writing unit tests and integration tests to validate new software features
• Identify new mobile technologies, trends, opportunities and how they might relate to improving our products and business.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in native Android app development in Java and Android Studio
• Demonstrated experience designing, building, and supporting scalable systems in a production environment
• Solid Understanding of:
  • Android OS and Android Studio SDK
  • The full mobile development life cycle
• Experience in:
  • Memory efficient object design
  • MVP and/or MVVM architecture, particularly clean designs
  • Working with SQL databases and Room
  • API integration and optimizations
• A passion and curiosity for learning new things
• Great interpersonal skills and a passion for working in a fast-paced, cross-functional team setting
• Must live in Metro Vancouver area
• Legally eligible to work in Canada
