  • Provide database design and implementation services
  • Provide database management / support services for Oracle & Microsoft SQL technologies
  • Provide database advisory services to both internal and Health Authority stakeholders
  • Installation, configuration and upgrading of database software and related products including design, implementation and support of High Availability Configurations including RAC, Data guard, Golden gate, and Always-On features
  • Implement and maintain database security, including creating and maintaining users and roles, and managing access privileges


Top Skills Required

  • Database Administration experience working on multiple, concurrent projects (5+ projects)
  • In-depth Oracle & MS SQL database design and implementation experience including RAC, ASM, RMAN, Grid Control, Data Pump, Data Guard, Golden Gate and Always-On configurations.
  • Good working knowledge of writing scripts and developing automation for database services including
  • Self-directed, highly motivated, results oriented, with proven technical leadership skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Strong analysis and decision making skills
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
