IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join our client in Melville, New York.

Field incoming requests to the Service Desk to ensure courteous timely and effective resolution of end users issues and requests
Be the point of contact, to provide support to customer and internal systems, including troubleshooting, escalations, alerts from monitoring, monitoring the close out and resolution of issues
Coordinating resolution of issues with computers, printers, attached instruments and associated software
Providing an audit trail of tickets and a brief description of how problems were resolved
Run network cabling and drops as needed
Relocate PCs and PC equipment
Support IT team members in the support, testing and training of the user base on technology and software
Installation and configuration of hardware, software and peripherals
User and Group management in Active Directory and Console One
Ongoing communication with staff and prompt response to inquiries, resolution to their request, problem or progress.
Training of staff – new users, application training/support including Microsoft applications.
The employee shall implement the Laboratory Quality Policy and perform their duties in accordance to existing project specific requirements, current Test Methods, study plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
