IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a Help Desk Analyst to join our client Vancouver, BC.

Provide complete support for CanWel user environments including all CanWel hardware, Windows 10 and 7 operating systems, and corporate software with an emphasis of business applications and network equipment.
As a member of the IT Department, and in conjecture with the Infrastructure team, provide support and troubleshoot all data telecommunications for all the Quebec, Atlantic and Ontario site networks.
Work closely with various vendors to help maintain infrastructure and all integrated application.
Work closely with Level 2-3 support to grow and maintain technical systems.
Investigate and identify the root cause of persistent issues and fix reoccurring issues at the source.
Interact with users, in-person and remotely, via Telephone, TeamViewer, Teams and other remote technologies.
Work with vendor support on behalf of clients to ensure support issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Use, update and contribute content to internal knowledge base and documentation.
Maintain a friendly, calm and professional attitude even when dealing with stressful situations.
Maintain the trust and respect of CanWel employees.
Work on obtaining industry certifications to further career path.
Top Skills Required
1 – 2 years of experience in a Help Desk role or recent completion of information technology progrom.
Knowledge and experience with Windows desktop, Android phones, Microsoft applications and Microsoft AZURE.
Demonstrable knowledge and experience with Citrix Virtual Applications/Desktops and VMware vSphere.
The ability to manage users, computers, and security groups in Active Directory.
Strong and effective oral and written communicator in French and English, strong preference will be given to candidates who are perfectly bilingual in French and English.
Strong time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a collaborative distributed team.
Excellent analytical and critical thinking/problem solving skills with always offering solutions to identified and assessed problems.
Proactive and results oriented approach.
Driven to always learn how to implement and support new innovative technology with clear business value.
Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
MCSA certificate in Office 365, Azure, Desktop, or Server is an asset
Cisco CCNA certification and ITIL Foundation Certification are assets
