IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking an IT Manager to join our client remotely anywhere in North America.

Primary Responsibilities

• Architect and design and administer all IT infrastructure in a cloud setting
• Select and procure all systems, server, network and computing hardware and manage vendor relationships and budgets  
• Ensuring consistent systems uptime in support of all engineering activities related to CAD applications
• Build and grow IT function through creating structure and hiring

Ideal Candidate                                                             

• North American based candidate with experience from startups, advanced technology or electronic manufacturing
• 5+ years of working in the IT infrastructure and managed services space, with experience in dealing with small and large IT vendors
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure technology and operations, esp. AWS, EDA tools
• Needs to have experience in setting up an IT infrastructure from ground up
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Strong technical skills and experience within each infrastructure tower to design and deliver infrastructure projects
• Strong analytical and technical skills to resolve issues and provide support for infrastructure, platforms as IT field services
• Effort estimation skills for Infrastructure requirements (including people and resources)
• Bachelor or Advanced degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
