IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking an Oracle Cloud HCM/Payroll Solution Architect to join our client in Edmonton, AB.

Responsibilities

  • Providing Oracle Cloud applications product expertise in the areas of Oracle Cloud HCM, Payroll, Time & Labour, Absence, Core, Chart of Accounts, Enterprise Performance Management, and Integration
  • Identifying and analyzing human resources, finance and SCM project needs
  • Working with Systems integrator solutions architect to design and plan for integrations with municipal ERP applications (E.g.: Finance, Property Tax, Utility Billing, etc.)
  • Collaborating with Oracle’s system integrator partner for implementation of Oracle Cloud applications
  • Responsible for working with systems integrator partner and client teams to design overall solution architecture, drafting testing strategy and leading various testing cycles (Functional testing, system integration testing, Payroll parallel test, User Acceptance Testing, etc.) as test manager
  • Working with project team and systems integrator to stand-up sustainment organization and transition to support
  • Provide post go-live support in hyper-care period immediately after go-live
  • Working with organization change management team to identify and document change impacts and suggest mitigation strategies
  • Defining scope and objectives for all aspects of client’s third-party integration with Oracle cloud applications.

 

Top Skills Required

  • Multi-pillar Oracle cloud applications implementation experience 
  • Over 7 years’ experience with medium to large scale implementations of the Oracle ERP and HCM Cloud Product Suite that includes: HCM, Finance, SCM, EPM and others
  • Demonstrated experience in development of integrated solution architecture, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototypes, functional configuration, testing, client user training
  • Extensive experience with all aspects of Oracle system implementation including requirement gathering, application design, application configuration and implementation, and client mentoring and training
  • Experience in JD Edwards to Oracle Cloud implementation / migration projects
  • Experience with minimum 2 Oracle HCM cloud implementations involving Canadian Payroll
  • Oracle Certifications in Cloud HCM or Finance, preferably in version 2020
  • Good application knowledge and keeping abreast with upcoming changes to Oracle Cloud HCM
  • Experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements
  • Experience in public sector environment is preferred
  • Applying effective communication with functional and technical stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Identifying and recommending opportunities to enhance productivity, effectiveness and operational efficiency of the team through operational support
  • Providing operational support, including researching and resolving problems, unexpected results or process flaws; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Working creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
