Responsibilities

• Manage vendor relationships.
• Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining and reporting on an overall project plan/schedule in line with agreed upon project commitments, timelines and budgets.
• Primary liaison between project stakeholders, project sponsors and steering committees.
• Manage technical and business stakeholders to ensure expectations are clearly defined and met.
• Lead and enable cross-functional teams to deliver on their assigned work; Delegate tasks and responsibilities as required.
• Provide clear, customized and regular communication and reports on project status, tasks, milestones, challenges, risks and issues to stakeholders including chairing meetings to review progress with key constituents.
• Manage scheduling, agenda creation, planning, facilitation, and actioning of outcomes for project team meetings. 

Top Skills Required

• BA/BS degree in computer science, business or related.
• PMP certified.
• Mix of technical experience in IT and business-related / business consulting experience.
• Minimum seven years of experience in a direct Project Manager role delivering high value, complex projects that have included the responsibility for the management of:
  • Multiple related and concurrent projects
  • Technology teams and initiatives
• Demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels, both inside the organization, to technical and non-technical stakeholders, with quality both written and verbally.
• Experience in the use of various project development methodologies including both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum.
• Important – Experience working with vendors and technology consulting firms including managing relationships, evaluating performance, and tracking T&M budgets.
• Important - Experience managing project financials and forecasting including developing and tracking capital and operating budgets.
• Important - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated experience to onboard quickly, solidify scope rapidly and manage change to scope closely
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
