IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a QA Analyst to join our client in Vancouver, BC.

Responsibilities

  • The QA Analyst would be responsible for planning and executing all testing activities, that they have determined are required to sufficiently test the software before it is delivered to the client(s).
  • The essential nature of the work is to find and report bugs to developers, making sure developers have the right amount of information to fix the bug.
  • They are expected to track all detected bugs and ensure they are fixed, escalating any concerns to the Supervisor, Planning and Analysis.
  • They are responsible for communicating their activities with the project team, and the Supervisor of the project (GIS, Design & Development and Planning and Analysis) and providing quality assurance.

 

Top Skills Required

  • Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and QA methodologies.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of software test design and testing methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of test techniques and compatibility with various software programs.
  • Working knowledge of programming.
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
