  • Actively participates in strategic level planning for future initiatives and releases
  • Plans and manages Software Capitalization plans for the Data Services team.
  • Monitors and reports on project progress to senior management.
  • Identifies and mitigates project risks and issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with Data Services and other Enterprise Imaging development groups across the range of products we are producing to ensure we are accounting for critical dependencies across the entire solution set.
  • Collaborates with the other team members throughout the development lifecycle, including working closely with Product Owners, Process Owners, and Engineering Leadership team members to ensure the set of activities required to release a product is adequately planned and managed.
  • Coordinates with the relevant teams and understand their business issues, and to help drive towards very frequent releases, including the necessary process changes and tool changes.
  • Accepts ownership for taking on new problems and challenges and proactively explores opportunities to add value to the over­all software development effort within the organization.


Top Skills Required

  • 8+ years of experience in high tech industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a project management role on software development projects.
  • Solid experience with Agile/Scrum based SDLCs.
  • Knowledge and some working experience in project management, system, programming concepts, scripting, project management tools and problem analysis and troubleshooting.
  • Proven track record in managing projects with deliverables from multiple teams.
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
  • Solid understanding of the current release processes associated with products at IWCS.
  • Proven track record of being able to interact constructively with other departments to influence process and tool implementations driving release improvements
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with management teams, staff, and internal and external customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including client facing.
  • Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, including conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of medical industry regulatory standards is an asset but not required.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
