IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a Senior Node.JS Developer to join our client in Remote Opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement HTTP based microservices using Node.js - Innovate.
  • We have all the challenges of real-time voice communications and scaling a social network
  • Create and support API framework for our customers and internal use
  • Work closely with the iOS and Android teams to help make sure we have the correct APIs and our applications perform well at scale
  • Write automated tests for everything
  • Be metric driven. Use quality, acquisition, engagement and retention metrics to measure success

 

Top Skills Required

  • Strong coding skills. At least 3 years of experience writing server side applications.
  • Experience or interest in writing applications using Node.js.
  • Familiar with unix command line tools.
  • Expert with using git and github.
  • Proven track record of building scalable and responsive web applications using modern front-end stacks
  • Comfortable with high levels of responsibility and ownership
  • Experience integrating with REST and service-based architectures
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work well with a smart, passionate and growing team
  • Independent, self-starter
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
