IT/IQ Tech Recruiters is seeking a Training Manager to join our client in Vancouver, BC.

Working with the Change Management Lead, develop the training approach/strategy for the project, in line with organizational training guidelines and principles;
Develop and implement a training plan for all stakeholders, in line with overall project timelines;
Identify resources required to deliver the training plan;
Provide leadership to training team resources; manage workload assignments to meet schedules and deliverables; mentor team members as needed;
Conduct training needs assessment by role and function across the organization for all impacted stakeholder groups, focusing on tools, processes, policies and soft skills;
In partnership with online content developers, analyze the information gathered through the training needs assessment, identify learning objectives and develop a modular based training program to address learning needs by role and function for all stakeholder groups;
Oversee the creation of a training curriculum and training materials;
Develop training experiences (content, structure, activities, materials) for instructor-led training initiatives that support both the trainers and participants, based on identified learning objectives;
Design and maintain training materials, create design documents, build storyboards and create post learning performance materials to ensure learning outcomes are consistent with objectives;
Build instructional content for all roles within the organization impacted by the project, working with other resources as required;
Top Skills Required
A minimum of 5 years work experience planning, developing and delivering training in both a virtual and classroom setting, for large scale organizational change efforts;
A minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams of content developers and other training resources;
Academic qualifications related to instructional design, learning development or adult education.

Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
