2019 Sales Incentive Trip: Mexico

Last week IT/IQ Tech Recruiters had the pleasure of taking all its top performers on an all-expenses paid trip to Mexico. This year a group of 19, consisting of recruiters, account managers, high-performing support members, and leadership all made it on the trip. To make it on the trip, team members had to hit their individually assigned stretch goals. These are goals that push team members to strive for new heights and help achieve overall company success.

The Resort

The team stayed at a five-star, three diamond all-inclusive resort just outside of Cancun. With onsite amenities including a golf course, multiple pools, buffets, and fine-dining restaurants, the resort did not disappoint. IT/IQ’s team members took advantage of these amenities throughout their stay, enjoying the swim-up bars and 24-hour room service.

The Excursions

On the Tuesday, the team enjoyed a Tequila tasting, including over ten types of Tequila and Mezcal. After the tequila tasting was a night at the on-resort casino.

On the Wednesday, the team was shuttled to the nearest harbor for a sea-fairing excursion on a 65-foot luxury Catamaran. With a fantastic playlist, open-bar and steak and lobster for lunch, the Catamaran was a huge hit. In an area protected by breakwaters, the team was able to swim-up to a surfboard bar equipped with seats and a cooler for drinks. After the Catamaran excursion, the team was shuttled into Playa Del Carmen for a mid-afternoon snack and time to shop at all the local vendors’ shops. Each night after dinner, everyone had the opportunity to go to the night club, cigar lounge, or attend numerous entertainment shows put on by the resort.

After an amazing week, the team concluded the trip with a group dinner at one of the fine dining restaurants on the resort, followed by drinks in the lobby lounge and eventually out to the night club where everyone danced until the early hours of the next morning.

Next Year’s Trip

Each year, IT/IQ hopes to bring more people on the trip then the past year. Team members that have been on the trip are encouraged to mentor those around them who are aspiring to join the next year.
