IT/IQ is always looking to add exceptional people to its team. With the expansion we have planned for the immediate and long-term future, IT/IQ needs a larger team to support our growth.
Last night, IT/IQ hosted its first student open house of 2019. IT/IQ’s open house events host a select group of new (or soon-to-be) graduates to speak candidly with our recruitment team to learn about the recruitment industry in general, and the benefits of working at IT/IQ. In addition to hosting open houses with several post-secondary schools, IT/IQ will be on campuses across the lower mainland in the coming months.
Last night, students from BCIT mingled with our team into the evening and enjoyed an array of finger food and refreshments. It is always interesting to hear about the constantly evolving business education and training that BCIT provides, and get a firsthand perspective on the high-calibre graduates it produces.
Our Customer Experience Manager, Glen Murray, organized the event, and put on a presentation highlighting what IT/IQ is, what career paths look like at IT/IQ, and expectations for IT/IQ’s internship program.
“The enthusiasm, determination and drive that BCIT graduates all seem to possess never fails to impress,” Glen said. “Regardless where these grads end up, it’s obvious that they will be successful in any fast-paced industry. Obviously, we would be thrilled to supplement our team with candidates like the ones we met with last night.”
IT/IQ is excited to host more open houses and attend job fares at numerous colleges and universities in the coming months.
