Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Software Tester / Quality Assurance Analyst to ensure our portfolio of products are of the highest quality. You are passionate about software and quality and enjoy working with other team members and liaising with customer and end-users. You will be an integral member of the project team and be responsible for planning, and executing test activities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Create test cases, test data, test scripts based on user stories, design documentation and other sources
- Test stories for conformance to requirements
- Identify, analyze and document defects
- Proactively look for test automation opportunities for regression, performance and compatibility test activities.
- Recommend and support process adoptions and improvements.
- Contribute to product development discussions
Desired Skills/Qualifications:
- Post-secondary diploma, certificate or degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a technical discipline
- 2-5 years agile testing experience
- Excellent time management, interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Azure DevOps is an asset
- Experience with IT ticketing systems such as Zendesk is an asset
