CORPORATE SOCIAL
RESPONSIBILITY

We recognize our responsibility to the communities and natural environment beyond the walls of IT/IQ. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program aims to build and strengthen local communities and minimize our environmental impact through strategic partnerships and corporate giving.

Our Partners

IT/IQ has been a strong supporter of the United Way of the Lower Mainland since 2012, when IT/IQ’s president, Feras Elkhalil, joined the United Way Cabinet, representing the technology sector. A large percentage of IT/IQ’s charitable donation dollars are put it into the UW, supporting programs in our community. Our team has contributed both financially and through volunteerism on an annual basis to several of the organization’s worthy causes.

IT/IQ has been a proud sponsor of the BC Children’s Hospital for 15 years, helping deliver on its mission to provide full-service, pediatric acute hospital care for children living in BC and the Yukon.

SCHOLARSHIPS & RECOGNITION

THE FERAS ELKHALIL – IT/IQ AWARD (every November)

The Feras Elkhalil – IT/IQ Award was established in honour of Mr. Feras Elkhalil, BCIT alumni and president of IT/IQ Tech Recruiters. Each year, IT/IQ awards a leading BCIT professional sales student with a $1,000 bursary to recognize their demonstrated leadership skills, service to their program, and exceptional work ethic. This award aims to encourage the recipient’s future pursuits within the professional sales industry.

ALI ELKHALIL AWARD OF EXCELLENCE (every January)

The Ali Elkhalil Award of Excellence–named after our president’s father–is an internal, company-wide award established to honour Ali’s unwavering support and encouragement for IT/IQ since our inception in 2002.

This peer-voted recognition is awarded annually to an outstanding team member who emulates Ali’s selfless attitude and positive nature while in pursuit of excellence. The recipient of this award demonstrates hard work and unselfish dedication to IT/IQ beyond their work.
